How Our Design Process Works
Here at Incstone, we ensure that getting your new brand design should be as painless and simple as possible. Here's a quick description of how our design process works.
- The process begins when you order one of our packages. After you have made your payment, you will be forwarded to our initial design form. Should this not occur, please contact us and we will forward you the link.
- Using the information provided to us in the form and our own creative skills, within three business days we will forward you five logo designs. If you have any general references you would like us to follow, please feel free to send us those as well.
- Upon receipt of the designs, you may then review the concepts and select a candidate logo or request revisions. Revisions can include color changes, font changes, layout redesigns, moving parts of one logo design to another, etc. Likewise, you can ask for an entirely new set of logo designs, tossing out the previous set. Please note that we do not place limits on revisions or colors; what you ask for is what you get.
- Once we have your request back, we will then proceed to work on the changes.
- The selection process will repeat until you find a final logo design that you are satisfied with. Once you have selected a final logo design, we will then request that you confirm this as your final logo with no further edits or changes needed.
- If you have selected our identity and stationery package, steps 3 & 4 will then repeat until you have confirmed your final candidates for your business card and stationery designs.
- If you have selected one of our deluxe packages, steps 3 & 4 will then repeat until you have confirmed your final candidates for the front and back of our deluxe busines card design.
- Once this is complete and all items are confirmed as final, we will then request a confirmation of what address you would like the CD (and deluxe cards, if ordered) mailed to.
- Delivery of your CD is made via US Postal Service (or your national mail, if ordered outside of the United States). We will deliver your logo in both color and grayscale in the following formats:
- JPEG, GIF, SVG and PNG - these are web design formats and are suitable for use on your website
- AI and EPS - these are vector formats used for high-quality printing
- TIF and PSD - these are photographic-quality formats used for minor manipulation in such programs as Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Expressions, etc.
- PDF - this is an everyday printing format and is suitable for home/office printing
- If you have selected one of our stationery orders, color versions of your layouts will be provided in AI format for printing by professional printers, as well as PDF for home printing. Unless you request otherwise, the stationery formats will be provided in North American standard sizes:
- Letterhead - 8.5 x 11"
- Business Card - 2 x 3.5"
- Envelope - 4.125 x 9.5"
- If you have selected one of our deluxe packages, the deluxe cards will be sent seperately from the CD shipment. Please note that due to the complexity of the cards, these will arrive after the CD shipment. We will inform you once we have shipped your deluxe cards.
- Once you receive the disc, your logo is yours to do with as you wish, to trademark or whatever you desire. We will only maintain copies of your logo for archival purposes and for use in our logo portfolios.
